Christine & Paul’s Los Angeles Country Club Wedding
Getting Ready at The Country Club
Christine and Paul’s beautiful and classy wedding started with getting ready at the Country Club. Her parents have been longtime members so Christine practically grew up at this gorgeous Country Club in Los Angeles! This “second home” was the perfect location to celebrate her marriage with all of her family and friends. Capturing Christine and Paul’s getting ready moments was so much fun because there was such a great buzz in the rooms – everybody was so relaxed and in good spirits! It was a scorcher of a day so we opted to stay inside and use the Country Club’s refined decor as a backdrop for bridal party and family pictures.
Saint Monica’s Wedding Ceremony
Christine and Paul chose Saint Monica’s in Santa Monica for their Catholic wedding ceremony. It’s always been one of my favorite churches to photograph a wedding in because of it’s beautiful and ethereal altar! Plus the clergy and staff have always been kind and great to work with. I really love that Christine and Paul went the extra mile with their ceremony decorations by placing two trees on the altar in the background. It really made their ceremony feel unique and personalized!
The Country Club Wedding Reception
The Country Club provided a gorgeous backdrop for Christine and Paul’s bride and groom images. We drove around the golf course in a cart as the sun was starting to set to take a few romantic and playful pictures. Their Ceremony was over, so they were able to really relax and enjoy their time on the course away from family and friends! Afterwards, we headed back to the clubhouse for the start of the reception. Their reception setup was STUNNING!!! Their blue, silver, purple, and pops of orange color palette felt sophisticated and very personalized.
My Favorite Part of The Day
My favorite part of the day has to be Christine’s father/daughter dance. Most father/daughter dances are slow dances in slow circles, but not this one – their dance was full of twirls and joy! They took advantage of the entire dance floor and you could see Christine’s Dad beaming with happiness for his little girl – it was so fun and heartwarming to watch!
