Q. How would you describe your photographic style?


A. My style is about capturing your unique love story through timeless and genuine story-driven images. I do this by utilizing a mix of journalistic and directed techniques, and through my unique use of lighting to give you images that feel timeless but not dated. I feel that my balance of capturing natural moments and creating opportunities for new moments provides the perfect balance for my couple's photographs.

Q. Who are the best wedding photographers in my area?

A. It's very important that you connect with your photographer's style, vision, and the feel of their imagery. Also, I highly recommend that you go with a experienced full-time photographer. Planning your wedding is super important, but be aware that weddings by nature are an evolving event. Timelines often shift on a wedding, and the weather and lighting conditions can change drastically throughout the day. You'll need someone with the experience to smoothly adjust and still capture awesome images for you! I've been photographing weddings for about 10 years so I have the experience it takes to give all of our clients the images they deserve! It's also important to feel comfortable and relaxed with your photographer(s) as you'll be spending the majority of your wedding day with them. As you can see, choosing the right wedding photography for your wedding goes way beyond price and is not an area of the budget that you'd want to skimp on!

Q. Will you be the only photographer at my wedding?

A. Most of my wedding collections include both Josh and a 2nd photographer/assistant to photograph your day! Josh is always the "lead" photographer Because it's important to "connect" with the photographer's that will be capturing your wedding, I never "farm out" our couple's weddings to associates. You'll always get Josh to photograph your wedding!

Q. How many weddings do you book per year?

A. I like to provide my couples with a personal experience so I only book a limited number of weddings per year.

Q. Are your packages customizable?

A. Because one size doesn't fit all, My packages can be customized to fit your needs and tastes. To learn more about what I can do for you, please fill out my contact form!

Q. Do we get a copy of our images?

A. All my packages include a copy of high resolution images because I feel it's important for my couples to have all of those memories available to them. Each image will have basic color and exposure correction applied so you'll be able to make great prints. You'll get a standard color, b&w, and signature look version of each image!

Q. Do you offer engagement sessions?

A. Absolutely! In fact I encourage e-sessions because they're a great way to get comfortable with your photographer and with having your picture taken before your wedding. By the time your wedding comes, you'll feel much more relaxed when it comes to pictures. Plus you'll get some awesome e-session images!

Q. What kind of camera do you shoot with?

A. I shoot with old school plastic disposable cameras....just kidding! I shoot with a full assortment of Canon and Sony full frame digital cameras and professional lenses. I also have equipment and lighting to handle just about any situation! It's important to note however that while professional equipment is great to have, it's the photographer's experience and eye that makes a good image great.

Q. Are you available for destination weddings or engagement session that are not in the area?

A. Definitely, but a travel fee may apply.

Q. When will our images be ready to view?

A. Your images will be available to view in a password protected online gallery within 4-6 weeks after your wedding date.


Q. What if I book a package that comes with say 7 hours of photography coverage and we decide that we want to add more hours later?


A. No problem. You can add hours at the package discount rate anytime before the wedding and at my regular rate the day of the wedding.


Q. Do I get to choose the images that go into my album?


A. Definitely. I ask for your favorite images before I start your album design because I want you to love everything about your album – especially the images in the design!


Q. When will I receive my album?

A. Typically around 3 months after you provide me with your list of favorite images, although the time can vary depending on how busy the album manufacturer is at the time.


Q. Do you recommend doing an engagement session?


A. Absolutely! It is the best way to get to know me and for me to get to know you! It also gets you comfortable with having your very own “paparazzi” before your wedding day! Plus you’ll get awesome images in more casual clothes which are often the images that my clients choose to display in their homes.


Q. Do you recommend that we see each other before the ceremony?


A. I absolutely encourage it! When you see each other before the ceremony I'm able to set up a “first look” where I can capture some very emotional and romantic moments. Also, because you’re seeing each other before the ceremony I can get the family and bridal pictures done before so you can spend time enjoying your cocktail hour with guests instead of cramming all of the pictures into the small period of time between the ceremony and reception.


Q. Are you insured?

A. Yes, I am fully insured and can provide proof of insurance to your venue if necessary!


Q. Do you offer videography services?

A. I specialize exclusively in photography in order to give you the best images I can. I can refer you to a talented videographer though!

Q. When and where can we meet?

A. I meet with new clients at my home studio. If you're interested in setting up a time to meet just let me know and we'll set something up!
